Sick of Being Sick? The Golden Shell that Can Make You Better
Breaking the Cycle: Why True Healing Requires More Than Temporary Fixes
Think of a time when something was not quite right. Maybe you had a physical issue, or you felt unwell. Maybe you had mental health stuff going on, or issues in your life that weren't working themselves out. Did it resolve itself, or does it keep coming back? People make mistakes when they try to heal their mind and body. So, why doesn’t it always work and how can we do it better?
Often when we're trying to heal or makes changes, we only concentrate on one element of healing. For example, if you've got a sore shoulder, you might get a massage. If you've got a sore tummy, you might take a probiotic, or a pill, hoping it goes away. And maybe it'll work for a little bit. Maybe you get relief in your shoulder. Maybe your stomach pain eases. Maybe you feel better within yourself.
But then the pain comes back. You treat it again. And again. After a while, it becomes this cycle of pain and slight remediation, and pain and slight remediation. You’re band-aiding.
“You repeat and repeat and repeat your attempts at healing”
If we keep doing this, we can get disheartened and think this is never going away. But are we stuck with it? What are we missing?
Well, many other elements contribute to what happens in our physical bodies. Our physical bodies are not just the skin and bone we see in the mirror.
We are made up of different energy fields that sit outside us and impact our physical body on a regular basis. If we can understand what they are, how they work, and why they impact our body, then we have access to tools to properly heal from that recurring shoulder or stomach issue. We don't have to endure that recurring emotional construct that comes in and makes us unwell.
